Security Power Supplies

An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) ensures the trouble-free operation of connected devices - even in the event of anomalies in the mains power. Short-term power grid failures are compensated for by temporarily supplying consumers with batteries. During normal operation, the UPS power supply charges the batteries while simultaneously supplying power to the connected devices. The effectiveness of an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) therefore depends largely on the power supply used, in addition to the nature of the batteries. In order to cover a wide range of consumer requirements, you can choose from switching power supplies with rated powers such as 50W, 60W, 100W, 150W and 160W. Depending on the model, the power supplies output a direct voltage (DC) such as 12V, 24V, 30V and 54V. Two-channel (dual output) UPS power supplies, such as the MEAN WELL ADD-155 series, are also available. Various options are also available with regard to the power supply design: the open frame design is recommended for installation in closed end devices. However, if the UPS is to be installed in a control cabinet, distribution cabinet or similar, MEAN WELL top-hat rail power supplies are preferred. Thanks to their compatibility with the DIN rails TS-35/7.5 and TS-35/15, these AC/DC power supplies are particularly easy to install.
