Splitter Cable: Accessories Adapter Power Supplies
Surveillance cameras are commonly operated on 12V DC (direct voltage). A standard coax plug is often used as the connector. Naturally, Standard MeanWell Desktop Power Supplies and Standard Mean Well Wall-Mounted Power Supplies are ideal for the operation of such CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) hardware. However, a comprehensive security concept commonly encompasses multiple surveillance cameras. Often, numerous devices are installed in small spaces – e.g. in retail stores. Due to the comparatively low power consumption of common CCTV hardware, several cameras are easily operated on a single switching power supply. Splitter cables available on ProConnecting enable the design and assembly such an installation. Its deployment is incredibly simple: The Desktop Power Supply or Wall-Mounted Adapter is connected to a coax socket at one end of the splitter. The cable then splits into three strands – each with a coax plug for connecting a surveillance camera. A reliable and cost-effective CCTV setup is thus easily achieved.
