KNX
The KNX protocol is a popular choice for building automation in residential, commercial, and industrial properties. HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), blinds, security, energy management, lighting: All important systems are integrated and accessible via a common interface. Interactions between the systems’ components take place via the KNX bus. To connect LED lighting, a specially designed LED Driver, like Mean Well LCM-25KN, LCM-40KN, and LCM-60KN models, is required. These Constant Current (CC) LED Power Supplies support illuminants with a power consumption of 18.9W to 60.3W. All MeanWell series feature models with an output current of 500mA, 600mA, 700mA, 900mA and 1050mA (LCM-25KN and LCM-40KN additionally 350mA, LCM-60KN additionally 1400mA). DIP switches on the LED drivers’ case allow the user to set the output current. Further handy features, like Constant Light Output (CLO), an integrated KNX Push Button Interface, or a 12V DC @ 50mA auxiliary voltage output simplify the Mean Well CC KNX LED Drivers’ installation and operation.
