Information about the MEAN WELL PWM-60-24DA2
The MEAN WELL PWM‑60‑24DA2 is a 60 W constant‑voltage LED driver with 24 V DC output and high‑frequency 2.5 kHz PWM dimming, designed for DALI‑2‑controlled 24 V LED strip and module installations. The constant‑voltage PWM output ensures very uniform brightness and colour across the entire strip, which is especially beneficial for longer runs of 24 V linear lighting in visually demanding projects.
Its technical strengths include a typical efficiency of around 89 %, a wide 90–305 V AC input range with active power factor correction and a fully potted IP67 housing suitable for dry, damp and wet locations. The broad case temperature range from −40 °C to +85 °C and the integrated protections against short circuit, overload, overvoltage and overtemperature allow the PWM‑60‑24DA2 to operate reliably in challenging architectural, commercial and industrial environments.
A key unique characteristic of the PWM‑60‑24DA2 is the native DALI‑2 interface (DT6) on the primary side, providing addressable, group‑capable dimming and seamless integration into modern building and lighting management systems, while still delivering a pure PWM constant‑voltage output to the LEDs. Combined with its long MTBF and comprehensive safety and EMC approvals, this driver is an excellent choice for 24 V LED coves, linear accent lighting, signage and other DALI‑2‑based projects where stable low‑flicker dimming and central control are required.
