Das STM 250 230V/40-44-48V ist ein Einphasen Transformator, welcher sich für die allgemeine Anwendung sowie für den Einbau in Industrie- und elektrotechnischen Anlagen eignet. Bei dieser Version handelt es sich um eine sehr sparsame Ausführung. Zudem besitzt der Transformator die Schutzklasse I und Schutzart IP00, sowie die Isolationsklasse B (130°C).
