Security Power Supplies
An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) ensures the uninterruptible operation of connected devices – even in the event of anomalies in the mains power supply. Brief power outages are compensated for by temporarily supplying the loads with batteries. During normal operation, the UPS power supply charges the batteries while simultaneously supplying power to the connected devices. The effectiveness of an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) therefore depends largely on the power supply used, in addition to the quality of the batteries. The MEAN WELL UPS power supplies listed on ProConnecting are ideally suited for use with unstable mains power. To meet the diverse requirements of loads, you can choose from switching power supplies with power ratings such as 50W, 60W, 100W, 150W, and 160W. Depending on the model, the power supplies output a direct current (DC) voltage such as 12V, 24V, 30V, and 54V. Dual-channel (dual output) UPS power supplies, such as the MEAN WELL ADD-155 series, are also available. Various power supply design options are also available: The open frame design is recommended for installation in enclosed end devices. However, if the UPS is to be installed in a control cabinet, distribution cabinet, or similar, MEAN WELL DIN rail power supplies are preferable. Thanks to their compatibility with the TS-35/7.5 and TS-35/15 DIN rails, these AC/DC power supplies are particularly easy to install.
