Information about the MEAN WELL NTS-400P-248
The MEAN WELL NTS-400P-248 is a high-reliability open-frame 48V DC-AC built-in power inverter designed to deliver clean True Sine Wave AC power (THD < 3%) to sensitive equipment. Controlled by an advanced digital MCU architecture and protected with conformal coating, this low-profile PCB module provides exceptional thermal and power stability. It offers 250 W output under free air convection and up to 400 W continuous output with forced air cooling, backed by a high surge power capability of 800 W to easily absorb initial load transients during equipment startup.
Engineered for high system efficiency, the inverter reaches an efficiency of up to 91% while maintaining an ultra-low standby consumption under 1.5 W in energy-saving mode to extend battery life in 48V battery banks. It comes equipped with a dedicated Tx/Rx UART communication port for real-time status monitoring and internal parameter adjustment. Featuring DIP-switch selectable output voltages and frequencies, an extended operating temperature range of -20 °C to +70 °C, and full input/output protection suites, this unit is perfectly suited for telecommunication nodes, data communication systems, wireless networks, and remote off-grid installations.
