Information about the MEAN WELL NTS-400P-224
The MEAN WELL NTS-400P-224 is an ultra-compact, open-frame 24V DC-AC built-in power inverter engineered to generate high-quality True Sine Wave power (THD < 3%) for precision electronics. Driven by an advanced digital MCU controller and protected by a durable conformal coating, it achieves an impressive high peak efficiency of up to 91%. The PCB module delivers 250 W under natural convection and up to 400 W continuous output with forced air cooling, backed by an outstanding surge peak power of up to 800 W to absorb strong initial startup currents from complex equipment.
Designed for embedded system integration, it incorporates a Tx/Rx UART communication port that allows operators to monitor status parameters in real time. To protect battery health, the module maintains an ultra-low standby power dissipation under 1.5 W in energy-saving mode when connected to 24V lead-acid or lithium-ion battery banks. With hardware DIP switches for quick output voltage and frequency customization, a wide operating temperature range of -20 °C to +70 °C, and built-in remote ON-OFF functionality, this module is an excellent power solution for mobile medical carts, commercial buses, wireless networks, and remote industrial equipment.
