Information about MEAN WELL NTS-1200-248EU
The MEAN WELL NTS-1200-248EU is a highly reliable 1200W off-grid DC-to-AC power inverter designed with peak power capability up to 2000W. It converts 48V DC battery power (suitable for both lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries) into clean, true sine wave AC electricity (THD < 3%). Configured with a Type-EU output socket, it defaults to delivering 230 V AC at 50 Hz, with output voltage and frequency easily adjustable via DIP switches.
Built for industrial and demanding off-grid environments, the NTS-1200 features MCU digital control, conformal coating, a wide operating temperature range from −25 °C to +70 °C, and comprehensive input/output protection mechanisms. It is widely used in 48V off-grid solar systems, telecom and datacom infrastructure, UPS backup setups, and mobile equipment. Additionally, it includes an energy-saving mode (< 1.5W dissipation) and supports RS-232 monitoring as well as remote ON/OFF switching.
