Information about MEAN WELL RSP-1600-48
The MEAN WELL RSP-1600-48 is a high-performance 1608W enclosed single-output AC/DC power supply featuring a compact 1U low-profile design and high power density up to 25W/inch³. Operating across a wide universal input voltage range of 90 to 264 V AC, it provides a stable 48 V DC output at up to 33.5 A. In addition to manual voltage adjustment via a built-in potentiometer, the unit features programmable output voltage (PV: 40–125%) and output current (PC: 20–100%) through external voltage control.
Designed for demanding industrial setups, the RSP-1600-48 incorporates active current sharing for up to 6 units in parallel (delivering up to 9600 W total), along with remote ON-OFF control, remote sensing, auxiliary power, and TTL alarm signals (DC OK, T-Alarm). Cooled by a built-in thermostatically controlled fan, it operates reliably across working temperatures from −30 °C to +70 °C. This renders it ideal for factory automation, test and measurement instruments, laser machines, telecommunications, and redundant power systems.
