Zudem verfügt es über einen Weitbereichseingang von 88 bis 264 VAC (Derating bei 88 – 100 VAC) und erzeugt eine geregelte 24 VDC Ausgangsspannung.   Zur Abdeckung der internen Platine (PCB) ist die Produktreihe von Mean Well in einer geschlossenen Bauweise konzipiert. Zudem zeichnen sich alle Modelle der RSP-320-Serie durch ihr schlankes Design und eine niedrige Profilhöhe von 30mm aus. Die Netzteilreihe ist für den Einsatz im Bereich der Automatisierung, Messtechnik sowie Lasertechnik geeignet.   Mit der integrierten aktiven PFC-Funktion sorgt die MeanWell RSP-320-Serie für eine stabile Stromversorgung. Die Schaltnetzteile sind des Weiteren mit einer LED-Lichtanzeige für Power-On ausgestattet.   Weiterhin wird die komplette Produktreihe von Mean Well durch den im Gerät eingebauten DC-Lüfter mit einstellbarer Leistung gekühlt. Damit können die Netzteile der RSP-320-Serie einen effizienten Betrieb mit hohem Wirkungsgrad von bis zu 90% bei Arbeitstemperaturen zwischen -30°C und +70°C (Derating ab +50°C) sowie bei 20 – 90% relativer Luftfeuchtigkeit gewährleisten.  Nicht zuletzt verfügt die Schaltnetzteilreihe über umfassende Schutzmaßnahmen gegen Kurzschluss, Überlast, Überspannung sowie Überhitzung. Die MeanWell RSP-320-Serie ist zudem konform mit Sicherheitsstandards wie EN62368-1, EN55032, EN61000-3-2, EN61000-3-3 und weiteren Anforderungen.
