The MEAN WELL EPP-500-18 is a highly reliable, 500 W open-frame AC/DC power supply built into a compact 5" x 3" footprint featuring high power density and an active PFC function. Designed for versatile installation in both Class I (with FG) and Class II (no FG) systems, it operates across a universal input range of 80 to 264 V AC, delivers a peak power of up to 550 W for 3 seconds, and provides a regulated single 18 V DC output. It provides up to 17.8 A (321 W) under free air convection cooling, and up to 27.8 A (499.2 W) when provided with 25 CFM of forced air cooling.
Featuring an exceptional efficiency rating of up to 94% and an extremely low no-load power consumption below 0.5 W via PS-ON control, the EPP-500-18 supports energy-efficient system design.
