Information about the MEAN WELL NPB-240-24XLR
The MEAN WELL NPB-240-24XLR is a highly versatile, fanless 240W compact battery charger designed for charging lead-acid (Flooded, Gel, AGM) and lithium-ion (LiFePO4, lithium manganese) batteries. Delivering a rated charging current of 8A at a nominal 24V DC system voltage, this model comes equipped with an integrated 100cm cable terminated with a standard 4-pin XLR connector. It supports a universal AC input range of 90 to 264V AC with active PFC, achieving high energy efficiency up to 92%.
Featuring a complete fanless convection-cooled construction, the NPB-240-24XLR operates in complete silence with zero mechanical wear. User-configurable controls on the front panel allow precise adjustments of both the charging voltage (21 to 30.4V DC) and charging current (50% to 100%) via built-in potentiometers. Additionally, an integrated DIP switch enables effortless selection between a 2-stage charging profile (ideal for Li-ion chemistries) and a 3-stage profile (ideal for lead-acid batteries). Outfitted with comprehensive safety features including short circuit, overvoltage, overtemperature, and battery reverse polarity protection, it provides reliable power management for mobile and industrial applications.
